Sponge City is a senior undergraduate film project, designing a solution to the Everglades water crisis. It is a five and a half minute long video detailing a massive park, containing a constructed wetland with a water treatment facility as well as a series of open destination areas. These include parks, a restaurant, research facilities, a number of observation towers, a rescue wildlife hospital, oases, a butterfly garden, greenhouses, a bus system, a large event center, and constructed islands over recharge basins. The focus of this project was on abstract form and path rather than detailing.
