The Wave House is a small home built along the banks of the Red River in Fargo, North Dakota, created with two other students in the spring of 2020. The Wave House utilizes passive energy strategies such as solar panels and geothermal tubes to create a kind addition to the environment around it, as well as being designed to not only withstand but welcome the regular high flooding of the riverbanks. The home was designed for artists, an open floor concept allowing visitors to easily see the art displayed and illuminated by natural light. Graceful, gently waving, fabric-cast concrete brings the material to the twenty-first century.
